Job summary

JLL is seeking a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to service, maintain and install air conditioning systems on site at Rolls-Royce in Bristol. You will work as part of a team, performing PPMs and reactive tasks with the option to work on retrofit and system replacements.

The role requires a solid electrical/mechanical background, suitability for out-of-hours callouts, and a valid UK driving license. IT literacy (Outlook/Word) and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified to install, service and maintain air conditioning systems.
• Experience with a range of A/C systems and service/maintenance works.
• Ability to work on a call rota and out-of-hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Attend PPMs and reactive works including breakdowns.
• Carry out service maintenance on Rolls-Royce site in Bristol.
• Produce quotations for remedial works after visits.
• Work on Split systems, VRF/VRL and AHU/DX systems.

Air Conditioning Engineer

Based: On client site ( Rolls-Royce), Bristol Business Park BS16

Hours: 40hrs Monday to Friday (day shift)

Role Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out service maintenance works on Rolls-Royce sit in Bristol. The successful candidate will provide a professional service to our client working on a varied selection of Air Conditioning systems.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Attend and complete PPMs & Reactive works as scheduled including breakdowns.
• Have install experience (retrofit/system replacements).
• Troubleshooting/ Fault finding on all A/C systems.
• To produce quotations for works /remedials following service visits.
• To work on Splits, VRFS, AHUs and DX systems and some Central Plant.
• To be able to work alone and with other team members when necessary.
• Complete all FGAS paperwork on sites and update logbooks in client premises.
• To be part of the Out of Hours Call Out Rota.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• C&G 2079 Cat1
• NVQ Level 3 or similar
• F-Gas
• Good Mechanical & Electrical Background
• Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety obligations with regards to maintenance activities
• Must be prepared to work out of hours when required and on a scheduled callout rota
• Have good communication and organisation skills
• UK Driving License
• Good understanding of IT packages including Outlook, Word etc
