Air Conditioning Engineer

Actaris is looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer in the Watford area.

Overview:
The Air Conditioning Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of air conditioning systems. This role may involve working independently or as part of a team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install air conditioning systems and components according to specifications and technical drawings
• Fit piping, ductwork, and electrical wiring in compliance with relevant standards
• Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs or part replacements
• Perform emergency repairs when required
• Test and commission systems, making any necessary performance adjustments
• Provide clear explanations of technical issues and solutions to clients
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times

Qualifications & Experience:

• Recognised qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3)
• Valid F-Gas certification
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Full UK driving licence
