Salary: £37,000 to £42,000 per annum DOE (plus Overtime)

We are a well-established, nationwide company based in Loughborough, seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to start ASAP.

We require an engineer with extensive knowledge of installing and working on air conditioning systems such as VRF/VRV multi-split and split systems for our diverse commercial clients including universities, hospitality, offices, retail, leisure, and residential sectors.

The Role

• Complete installation of VRF/VRV, multi-split, and split systems including pipework, wiring, mounting, brazing, and condensate management.
• Install and commission a variety of air conditioning systems.
• Read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Coordinate with project teams and directors daily.
• Manage on-site installations for smooth delivery.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships by liaising with clients as required.
• Follow all health & safety protocols and site-specific requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning; F-Gas/EN 378 compliant.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Quality workmanship and pride in work.
• Confidence in your abilities.
• Flexible, willing to work on various mechanical systems with training provided.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Electrical competence, including reading wiring schematics and testing control circuits, is advantageous.
• Full driving license.
• Ability to work away 2-4 nights per week depending on projects.
