Salary: £37,000 to £42,000 per annum DOE (plus Overtime)

A well-established company operating nationwide, based in Loughborough, requires an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to start ASAP.

We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning installation engineer with substantial knowledge of installing and working on air conditioning systems, such as VRF/VRV multi-split and split systems for commercial clients including universities, hospitality, offices, retail, leisure, and residential sectors nationwide.

The Role

• Complete installation of VRF/VRV, multi-split, and split systems including pipework, wiring, mounting, brazing, condensate management, etc.
• Install and work on a wide variety of air conditioning VRF/VRV and split systems, with proven experience.
• Commission VRF/VRV, multi-split, and split air conditioning systems.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and follow technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with project teams and company directors daily.
• Coordinate and oversee installations on-site for smooth delivery.
• Liaise with clients to maintain stakeholder relationships where required.
• Work safely, following all internal health & safety protocols and client site requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, F-Gas/EN 378 compliant.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with report writing ability.
• Quality workmanship and pride in work.
• Confident in own abilities.
• Flexible and willing to work on various mechanical systems, with training provided as needed.
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
• Electrical competence, including reading wiring schematics and testing control circuits, is advantageous.
• Full driving license.
• Willing to work away 2-4 nights per week depending on projects.
