Title: Air Conditioning Engineer

Type: Permanent

Salary: £37,000 to £42,000 per annum DOE (plus Overtime)

A well-established company operating nationwide, based in Loughborough, requires an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to start ASAP.

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning installation engineer with considerable knowledge of installing and working on air conditioning systems such as VRF/VRV multi-split and split systems for our commercial clients, including Universities, hospitality, commercial offices, retail, leisure, and residential sectors, to work nationwide.

The Role

• Complete installation of VRF/VRV, multi-split, and split systems including pipework, wiring, mounting, brazing, condensate management, etc.
• Install and work on a wide variety of air conditioning VRF/VRV and split systems, with experience and time served.
• Commission VRF/VRV, multi-split, and split air conditioning systems.
• Read drawings, schematics, and follow technical diagrams.
• Coordinate with project teams and company directors daily.
• Manage and control installations on-site for smooth delivery.
• Liaise with clients as needed to maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Follow all internal health & safety protocols and client-specific site requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, F-Gas/EN 378 compliant.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
• Pride in quality workmanship.
• Confident in own abilities.
• Flexible and willing to work on various mechanical systems, with training provided.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Electrical competence, including reading wiring schematics and testing control circuits, is advantageous.
• Full Driving License.
• Willing to work away, with a minimum of 2-4 nights per week depending on projects.
