Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a new challenge?

I am working with a facilities management company who are looking to add a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to their team. The company specialise in PPM and reactive maintenance within commercial buildings. This role is a field based position and will be covering the Devon area.

About the role of Air Conditioning Engineer:

My client work mainly on commercial buildings such as high street retailers and banks. You will be tasked with attending around 4 sites a day to carry out repairs or maintenance within the buildings which will include PPM and reactive work.

Responsibilities for Air Conditioning Engineer:

• Undertake maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment.
• Service, maintenance and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps.
• Work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets/ multi deck or ice machines
• Work across a variety of manufacture plants
• Understanding installation designs and bespoke manufacturer trouble shooting procedures
• Expected to complete any required work-related documentation accurately and on time
• Keep an accurate log of inspection reports and remedial work
• Use a hand held device effectively

Requirements of a Air Conditioning Engineer:

• Full driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
• Good written and verbal communication
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Able to work without supervision
• NVQ Level 2 (ideally 3) or equivalent
• Knowledge of health and safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working

• Salary between £28,548 and £50,000 depending on experience
