Job description

Air Conditioning Engineer Position

Our client, a successful family-run HVAC contractor based in Basildon with over 60 years of industry experience, is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer to join their expanding team due to increased contracts.

Responsibilities

The engineer will carry out maintenance and reactive works on VRV/VRF systems, Split Units, and more across various sites in London and the Home Counties. These sites include a diverse range of commercial properties such as retail outlets, private and public sector buildings, hotels, leisure facilities, government buildings, and IT/data centres.

Requirements

• 3-4 years' experience servicing air conditioning systems
• Located within 20 miles of Basildon
• Current F-Gas 2079 Certification
• NVQ Level 2 qualification
• UK clean driving license

Remuneration and Benefits

• £38,000 - £45,000 DOE
• 40-hour workweek
• Door-to-door travel pay
• On-call rota of 1-4 weeks
• Overtime at 1.5x and 2x rates
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 22 after 1 year
• Company van provided
• Equipment including iPad, mobile phone, credit card, uniform, PPE, and specialist tools
