About The Opportunity

• Outlier seeks talented writers fluent in English to help train generative AI models.
• This reading and writing-intensive freelance role is remote with flexible hours.

Your Contributions

• Reading English texts to rank responses generated by AI.
• Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking.
• Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-produced text.

Desired Expertise

• Experience as a professional writer or editor.
• Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in a writing-related discipline.
• Strong writing style, excellent English spelling and grammar, along with reasoning skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to clearly explain strengths and weaknesses of texts.

Payment Details

• Rates vary by country and expertise, e.g., US: $15-$35/hr, UK: £11-£27/hr, Canada: $20-$48/hr, Australia: $22-$53/hr, New Zealand: $25-$58/hr.
