Job summary

Avanade UK is seeking an AI Workforce Solution Area Lead to drive growth and market positioning for AI-enabled workplace transformation. You will align with Microsoft, shape priority propositions, and oversee a coherent operating rhythm across practices and GTM functions.

The role focuses on turning market demand into pipeline and revenue, partnering with Microsoft, Accenture and client groups, while ensuring a credible, commercially viable delivery model and skilled workforce plan.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in modern workplace and AI-enabled productivity.
• Strong commercial track record in growing technology, consulting or managed services.
• Experience shaping and selling client propositions in a Microsoft ecosystem.
• Credibility with Microsoft, Accenture and client executives.
• Understanding AI adoption, change management and productivity transformation.
• Ability to lead through influence across multiple internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the UKS AI Workforce growth strategy across direct and indirect channels.
• Define the Solution Area plan, including priority propositions and target clients.
• Ensure Microsoft alignment, capability priorities, and growth focus.
• Act as primary Avanade UKS interface to Microsoft for the Solution Area.
• Build AI-led propositions to improve productivity and business value from Microsoft technologies.
• Integrate Practice and GTM strategies to support a single Solution Area strategy.
• Drive pipeline creation, opportunity conversion, and revenue growth.
• Partner with Client Groups, Microsoft, Accenture and Delivery on key pursuits.
• Shape capability roadmap and workforce plan with Practice Lead.
• Own strategic capability direction: build, buy, borrow or partner.
• Ensure the delivery model is commercially viable and credible with clients.
• Maintain Sold-vs-Delivered CCI integrity in partnership with Practice and Delivery.
• Build Avanade UKS market reputation in AI-enabled workplace transformation.
• Contribute to cross-Solution Area opportunities where AI Workforce is involved.
