Job summary

Neural Concept in Cambridge (UK) is seeking an AI Workflows Engineer to own the design and delivery of Python-first engineering solutions for a specific industry. You will collaborate with the Vertical Solutions Product Manager and customers to define roadmaps and build workflows that integrate design, simulation, and machine learning.

As the primary developer, you will work with CAD/CAE specialists to implement, maintain, and evolve these solutions, and identify reusable components to embed

Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping production Python tools in fast-moving, cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on Python engineer with packaging, testing (pytest), CI, code review, docs, and git.
• Able to define data/interfaces for CAD/CAE specialists and integrate tools.
• Background in physics or engineering.
• Clear communicator across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of AI-powered engineering workflows; integrate into the Neural Concept platform.
• Act as primary Python developer: interfaces with CAD/CAE; manage coding, testing, CI, packaging, releases.
• Create reusable templates, presets, and best practices from active projects.
• Engage reference customers to gather feedback and drive adoption.
• Help define documentation, playbooks and hands-on training sessions.
