Job summary

Computershare is seeking an AI Transformation Lead for a 12-month contract in Edinburgh, with three days in the office per week. You will drive the delivery of large-scale AI and technology transformation programs, bridging business and technology teams to realise measurable value.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure platforms, governance, and cloud infrastructure support delivery, and define success metrics with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering complex AI/tech transformations in large enterprises.
• Technical engineering background with credibility with architects and data scientists.
• Proven track record delivering AI or data-driven products at scale.
• Experience with cloud environments, especially Azure, and ML lifecycle.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced transformation programmes.

As AI Transformation Lead you will drive the delivery of large-scale AI and technology transformation programmes. This is a highly technical, delivery-focused leadership role for someone with a strong engineering background who can bridge the gap between business and technology teams, ensuring AI products, platforms, and services are successfully delivered and create measurable business value.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI transformation programmes, ensuring successful execution from concept through to production and business adoption.
• Coordinate multiple technology workstreams, managing dependencies, risks, and delivery challenges to achieve programme objectives.
• Act as the key link between business and technical teams, translating strategic goals into actionable delivery plans.
• Ensure AI solutions are supported by the appropriate platforms, infrastructure, operating models, governance, and processes.
• Provide technical leadership and challenge to engineering, architecture, and data science teams, helping resolve complex delivery issues.
• Work with stakeholders to define success metrics, measure outcomes, and ensure AI investments deliver tangible business and customer value.

What you will bring to the role:

• Strong experience delivering complex technology, digital, data, and AI transformation programmes within large enterprise environments.
• Strong engineering or technical background with the ability to engage credibly with architects, engineers, and data scientists.
• Experience delivering AI, Machine Learning, automation, or data-driven products and platforms at scale.
• Strong knowledge of cloud environments, particularly Azure, and familiarity with AI/ML solution delivery lifecycles.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and technical teams alike.
• Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and driving successful outcomes in complex, fast-paced transformation programmes.
