Job summary

Elevate is seeking an experienced Data Privacy Lawyer on a 6-month contract to provide legal guidance across privacy and data protection matters for AI-driven products and services.

You will advise on GDPR compliance, DPIAs, data transfers, and vendor data-sharing, while drafting privacy notices and DPAs. You will support speed-to-market in a fast-paced tech environment and interact with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data protection and privacy law.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and EU privacy principles.
• Experience advising technology, SaaS, AI or digital businesses.
• Exposure to AI-related privacy or data governance matters is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical legal advice on UK and EU data protection matters.
• Advise on GDPR compliance, DPIAs, international data transfers and data-sharing arrangements.
• Support privacy considerations relating to AI products and data use.
• Draft and review privacy notices, DPAs, data processing terms and other privacy docs.
• Advise business teams on privacy risks and requirements.
• Develop and implement privacy policies and governance frameworks.
• Monitor regulatory developments relating to AI and data protection.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
