Job summary

Elevate, a leading AI technology company, is seeking an experienced Data Privacy Lawyer for a 6 month contract to provide strategic legal advice across privacy and data protection. You will help design and scale AI-driven products while ensuring compliance with UK GDPR and EU data protection norms.

In-house or tech-focused private practice experience is preferred; you will collaborate with product, engineering and commercial teams to draft privacy notices, DPAs, data processing terms, and

Qualifications

UK-qualified solicitor or equivalent qualification.
Strong experience in data protection and privacy law.
Knowledge of UK GDPR and EU data protection principles.
Experience advising technology, SaaS or digital businesses.

Responsibilities

Provide practical legal advice on UK and EU data protection and privacy matters.
Advise on GDPR compliance, DPAs, data transfers and data-sharing.
Support privacy considerations relating to AI products and data use.
Draft and review privacy notices, DPAs and data processing terms.
Advise on privacy risks to product, engineering and commercial teams.
Support development of privacy policies, processes and governance frameworks.
Monitor regulatory developments in AI and data protection.
