We need an exceptional AI Team Leader to lead a world-class group of AI-focused software developers, building the team’s knowledge and abilities, and shaping the future of our products.This role is ideal for someone with leadership skills, deep technical expertise, and a strong ability in strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development: This is a hands-on role, developing and deploying code as well as guiding a talented group of AI professionals in building innovative solutions rooted in strong theoretical foundations. Cultivate a collaborative environment where critical thinking and experimentation thrive.
• Strategic Vision and Delivery: Design and implement AI strategies that are both technically robust and aligned with business priorities.Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
• Technical and Scientific Oversight: Provide mentorship and direction on advanced machine learning architecture, AI system design, and deployment strategy.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers and business leadership to integrate AI seamlessly into real-world systems. Effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• Innovation & Research: Stay informed on AI research, emerging technologies, and industry developments. Encourage the team to explore and implement cutting-edge AI solutions.Maintain ties to the academic community through collaborations, conferences, and shared learning.

Ideal Profile

• Solid practical experience leading AI research or development teams producing real-world deployed solutions.
• Strong background in machine learning, including LLMs and related technologies.
• Proven ability to bridge research and application, and to mentor others in doing the same.
• Skilled communicator with a collaborative, inclusive leadership style.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
• A relevant PhD (e.g. AI/ML) is a plus but not required.
