SpAItial, a frontier AI company in London, seeks an experienced Operations professional to own monthly finance cycles, payroll, onboarding, contracts, benefits, and documentation. You will work directly with our COO to keep finance and HR processes accurate and timely in a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in operations, business or finance ops in a startup or tech company.
• Proven ability to build and fix operating systems and processes.
• Exceptional diligence, strong lists, and systematic closures.
• Numerate and proficient with spreadsheets and data.
• AI-native mindset; uses AI tools daily.

Responsibilities

• Finance cycle management with reconciliations, accounts, expenses, invoicing.
• Oversee payroll, onboarding, contracts, benefits, and employee docs.
• Coordinate payroll providers, pensions, healthcare, banks, and insurers.
• Manage vendor relationships and renewals, incl. compute/infrastructure.
• Oversee London office operations, space, equipment and events.
• Turn founder-led workflows into documented, repeatable processes.
• Prepare inputs for board materials, investor updates, and reporting packs.
