Job summary

Halliburton’s Landmark Software & Services team in Abingdon, UK seeks a senior AI SRE team lead to design, develop and operationalize AI‑driven tooling across a multi‑cloud infrastructure. You will own full‑stack AI solutions, guide an AI sub‑team, collaborate with engineering groups and participate in on‑call incident response, delivering reliable AI workloads and scalable observability.

Requirements include 8–12+ years in software or platform engineering, Angular/TypeScript frontends, Python

Qualifications

A technical bachelor's degree and 8–12+ years in software or platform engineering.
Production experience building Angular interfaces and Python services, including FastAPI and asynchronous patterns.
Hands-on experience delivering LLM applications with prompt design, RAG and agent frameworks.
Experience with AWS or Azure DevOps, Terraform and Ansible.

Responsibilities

Design and build full-stack AI‑powered applications using Angular frontends, Python/FastAPI backends, and integrated LLM and agent pipelines.
Develop and operationalize LLM‑based solutions for SRE use cases including log analysis and incident triage.
Implement RAG pipelines over operational knowledge bases and runbooks.
Integrate AI/ML models into SRE observability tools and automation workflows.
Maintain Kubernetes‑deployed AI workloads and address inference latency and reliability.
