Job summary

Landmark Software & Services, a Halliburton company, seeks an AI SRE team lead to design, develop, and operationalize AI- and LLM-driven tooling that augments SRE workflows across multi‑cloud platforms. You will lead an AI sub‑team and collaborate with developers, IT engineers, and product owners to ship AI‑first tooling at scale.

The role covers full‑stack AI apps with Angular frontends and Python backends, LLM pipelines, RAG, and observability integration.

Qualifications

• Must have solid experience of AWS/Azure DevOps, Terraform and Ansible.
• Proven hands-on full-stack development with Angular (TypeScript) frontends and Python backends.
• Strong Python proficiency including FastAPI, async patterns, and ORM (SQLAlchemy).
• Direct experience building LLM-integrated apps with prompt engineering and RAG pipelines.
• Familiarity with LLM providers and APIs (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI API).
• Experience with vector databases and embedding workflows.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD for application code and ML artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full‑stack AI‑powered apps using Angular frontends and Python backends.
• Develop and operationalize LLM‑based solutions for SRE use cases.
• Implement RAG pipelines over operational knowledge bases and runbooks.
• Integrate AI/ML models into observability tools and automation workflows.
• Build and maintain RESTful and async APIs for internal tooling and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Cloud Automation on AI‑driven infrastructure automation.
• Enforce engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
• Evaluate emerging AI frameworks and providers for deployment.
