Job summary

OMNIA® Training is seeking an AI Solution Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions for the British Army training system. You will collaborate with data engineers, software teams, and DevSecOps to build scalable, secure AI components.

You will navigate data preparation, model evaluation, and workflow automation while upholding ethical AI practices and regulatory requirements in defence contexts. Hybrid work and continuous learning are key features of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and ML framework experience.
• End-to-end ML lifecycle skills (data prep, training, eval, deployment).
• Ability to document technical solutions for maintainability and auditability.
• Understanding of secure coding and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Support AI/ML solution design, development, deployment for Army training.
• Maintain ML pipelines: data prep, training, validation, deployment.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure scalable, secure AI components.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and briefs.
