Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer for a partner organisation operating across power networks, digital infrastructure and specialist systems. You will translate business challenges into practical AI solutions, working directly with end users to develop AI use cases, automated workflows, agents and integrations using cutting-edge tools.

We are looking for a technically capable individual with programming experience (Python), API development and strong problem-solving

AI Solutions Engineer

LHH is partnered with a leading organisation operating across the power networks, digital infrastructure and specialist systems sectors, seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to support the development and delivery of its AI adoption programme.

Reporting to the Change & Business Improvement Lead, the role will focus on translating business challenges into practical AI solutions, working directly with end users to develop AI use cases, automated workflows, agents and integrations using technologies including Claude, Claude Code and Cowork. You will also develop APIs and scripts, test and document solutions, and support the adoption of AI across the organisation.

We are seeking a technically capable individual with programming and scripting experience, such as Python, API development and strong problem-solving skills. Hands-on experience with AI or large language model platforms, prompt engineering and agentic tools is important, alongside the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users and work with minimal supervision.

Experience of software development lifecycles, agile delivery, or the construction, utilities or infrastructure sectors would be advantageous. A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience, is desirable.
