Job summary

The AA is seeking an experienced AI Solution Architect to lead enterprise AI initiatives and define secure, scalable architectures. You will work closely with Engineering, Data, Product and Security teams to translate business challenges into pragmatic AI solutions, balancing innovation with governance and long-term maintainability across The AA’s platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solutions Architect delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Practical experience designing AI or Generative AI solutions and explaining component interactions.
• Strong knowledge of modern AI architecture including LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation, embeddings and vector search.
• Experience designing secure, scalable cloud-native architectures in Azure or AWS and related integration patterns.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement across Engineering, Product, Data, Security and senior business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI and Generative AI solution architectures that are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
• Translate complex business challenges into pragmatic AI solutions and articulate rationale, trade-offs, and risks.
• Design solutions using patterns like RAG, LLMs, embeddings, vector search, AI agents and orchestration.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data, Product and Security throughout design, build and production rollout; provide hands-on guidance.
• Act as a technical authority balancing innovation with security, governance, and Responsible AI.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to reusable AI reference architectures and standards.
