Qualifications

• A strong analytical foundation built through experience in start-ups, investment banking, PE/VC, strategy, or management consulting—environments that demand rigorous thinking, structured problem-solving, and rapid synthesis of information.
• You thrive in ambiguity, form clear mental models quickly, take ownership instinctively, and enjoy diving deep into unfamiliar software categories. You operate with autonomy, intensity, and a strong internal drive.

Responsibilities

• Drive origination efforts across our core investment themes - identifying high-potential software opportunities through trend analysis and market discovery.
• Contribute to thesis development for key software segments, helping shape how Aries prioritizes categories and enters new markets.
• Lead the analytical work behind our deals - financial models, valuations, market research, and competitor benchmarking.
• Support pipeline-building through relationships with our founders, bankers, and other intermediaries.
• Help guide and review the work of junior team members on live deals.
• Partner with senior investment team members to sharpen investment conviction ahead of key decisions.
