Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Security Engineer (AI) to own and operate AI security controls across enterprise platforms, reporting to the Security Engineering team. You will work at the intersection of security engineering, cloud security, and AI governance, partnering with GRC, Legal, and business technology teams to raise our AI security posture.

The role requires hands-on security and cloud experience (Azure preferred), plus at least four years in security, with three years in AI/LLM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or closely related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, OSCP, AZ-500 or equivalent certification in cybersecurity; or actively pursuing certifications.

Responsibilities

• Own AI security controls across enterprise AI deployments and define security tooling and governance.
• Lead AI security threat modelling for LLM platforms and map mitigations to risks.
• Collaborate with SOC/Threat Intelligence, GRC, Legal, and cross-functional teams on AI governance and compliance.
• Contribute to incident response playbooks and security monitoring for AI tools and platforms.
• Engage with AI platform vendors' security teams and stay updated on advisories.
