Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an AI Security Specialist to protect how AI is designed, built, and used across the organisation. You’ll join the Security Data & AI Lab within the Chief Security Office, shaping AI security strategy and embedding it across the business.

You’ll work with engineering and data teams to build security controls into AI systems from the start, perform risk assessments, and implement AI-driven security capabilities such as threat detection and incident response.

Qualifications

• 5+ years exp in AI/Cyber Security/CS
• 5+ years exp in Cyber Security incl securing AI systems or cloud apps
• Understanding of IAM, encryption, network security, secure design
• 2+ years exp in cloud security engineering or WAFs
• Knowledge of AI technologies and model architectures
• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, UK GDPR (5+ years)
• Experience in risk assessments, threat modelling, security audits
• Strong communication, project management, and organisational skills
• Ability to collaborate and prioritise in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Help adopt AI at scale while keeping customers, colleagues and systems safe
• Shape and embed Lloyds AI Security strategy across the business
• Design and deploy AI-driven security capabilities like threat and anomaly detection
• Advise on risk, compliance and regulation to meet industry standards
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to build security into AI from the start
• Conduct testing and adversarial assessments as needed
• Ensure security controls are embedded early in development
