Job summary

Aston University invites applications for an Administration & Research Officer (Internal only) in the School of Law & Social Sciences. The role supports the AI.RDN+ project and related communications on a fixed-term, part-time basis. Location: Aston University Main Campus.

You will coordinate project consultations, contribute to maintaining the AI.RDN+ website and newsletter production, manage external enquiries and support data collection and analysis within the doctoral research ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Proven administrative support experience in complex interdisciplinary projects.
• Experience undertaking, writing up and presenting qualitative research results.
• Experience with data collection, especially relating to postgraduate researchers' use of generative AI tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive administrative support for the AI.RDN+ project and interdisciplinary activities.
• Coordinate project consultations and meetings and maintain project communications.
• Produce the AI.RDN+ Newsletter and update the project website and related digital content.
• Liaise with stakeholders and manage external enquiries; support data collection and analysis.
