Job summary

Whitehall Resources Limited is seeking a Data Intelligence and Governance Specialist to turn data into clear, decision-ready insights and ensure data is trusted for AI. You’ll work with stakeholders to define metrics, translate questions into data and AI solutions, and build dashboards with Databricks Genie Rooms, backed by semantic models, ontology and metadata.

You will collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data products are useful, trusted and user-friendly, driving adoption

Qualifications

• Experience in data analytics, BI or data visualization.
• Experience creating dashboards using Databricks AI/BI, Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong SQL and data validation skills.
• Understanding of semantic modeling, metrics and KPI design.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements and KPIs.
• Create dashboards and visualisations with Databricks Genie Rooms.
• Translate business questions into data, analytics and AI experiences.
• Develop semantic models, KPIs, definitions and metadata.
• Configure Genie Rooms for natural-language analytics.
• Maintain ontology, taxonomy and business glossaries.
• Validate data, calculations and AI outputs.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to improve data quality and lineage.
• Gather feedback to improve solutions per business needs.
