Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Cloud Architect to lead the technical agenda on cloud strategy and transformation engagements. You will be an architect first, shaping strategy and the narrative behind technology.

You will run architecture leadership across AWS, Azure, and GCP, design migration paths, and craft AI-ready architectures while translating complex choices into business language for clients and bids. Hybrid UK-based roles across London, Manchester or Glasgow.

Qualifications

• Hands-on architecture with AWS/Azure/GCP and relevant certifications.
• Broad infra, networking, security and data knowledge; strong cloud migration experience.
• Consulting-architect blend: credibility plus workshop facilitation and senior-level presentation.
• Experience designing for AI and data workloads.
• Experience in client-facing roles and matrix organisations.
• TOGAF or equivalent framework is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Lead current-state assessments and design target architectures across multi-cloud.
• Define workload placement and modernization patterns balancing cost and risk.
• Design AI-ready data platforms and GenAI patterns.
• Translate architecture into business language for client workshops and proposals.
• Assure solutions and contribute to bids and propositions with technical depth.
• Own the architecture workstream on engagements and mentor others.
