Job summary

Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) is seeking a talented Creative Technologist in the UK to rapidly translate client challenges into compelling AI-powered prototypes. You will work with a creative designer to define problems, draft wireframes and user journeys, and build demonstrable prototypes within focused, week-long cycles.

The role emphasizes autonomy, staying at the leading edge of AI tooling and delivering polished solutions for client demonstrations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience building software and/or prototypes with AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor.
• At least 5 years experience building web applications and websites using JavaScript, TypeScript, React and ES6+.
• At least 2 years experience with backend stacks (Node, Java, or Python)
• At least 1 year experience configuring and using AWS web hosting (S3, CloudFront, ECS, Lambda)
• Demonstrable experience of working alongside creative teams
• Demonstrable experience presenting to clients and non-technical audiences
• Experience with Terraform to manage AWS deployments desirable but not essential
• Working knowledge of DynamoDB and vector databases such as ElasticSearch/OpenSearch

Responsibilities

• Identify and articulate genuine client challenges and opportunities for technology to address.
• Collaborate with a creative software designer to shape problems worth solving and wireframes/u journeys.
• Spend focused weeks building a demonstrable prototype using AI tools.
• Incorporate AI agents, LLMs, models and MCP services into value-added solutions.
• Prepare and present prototypes to clients, demonstrating how the solution addresses their problem.
• Research emerging AI tools and techniques and apply them where useful.
• Work autonomously with limited support from the wider team.
• Capture and document solutions for future reference and reuse.
