Job summary

Graphcore, Ltd. is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer to design circuit solutions for Graphcore processor systems and validation platforms.

You will turn system requirements into schematics, layout constraints, and testable hardware, shaping production systems and test boards used across development and customer enablement. You will work with silicon, architecture, software and PCB CAD specialists to define validation plans, run lab campaigns, debug prototypes, and interpret results with

Qualifications

• Strong digital circuit design and validation skills.
• Experience with processor-based systems and interfaces (Ethernet, PCIe, DDR, USB, QSPI, JTAG).
• Lab bring-up, margin testing and validation experience.
• Ability to script tests and analyse results using Linux, Python, Bash and Excel.
• Understanding of server architecture (BMC, NIC, SSD) with SERDES experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design circuit solutions for Graphcore processor systems and validation platforms.
• Define validation plans and run lab campaigns to prove performance and reliability.
• Debug prototypes and interpret results with firmware and architecture teams.
• Own designs from schematic capture to mass production readiness.
• Collaborate with silicon, architecture, software and PCB CAD specialists.
