Aviva plc is seeking an AI Platforms Business Analyst to shape and deliver next‑gen AI capabilities across the organisation. You will translate business needs into clear requirements and work with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and engineers to ensure value-driven delivery.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, discovery support, and defining platform capabilities in a fast‑changing AI landscape. Flexible working is available across multiple locations in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business analysis within technology, digital, data, or platform delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops and gathering requirements.
• Experience creating and managing user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and other BA artefacts.
• Ability to simplify complex business and technical concepts for decision-making.
• Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies including backlog refinement and prioritisation.

AI Platforms Business Analyst

Salary circa £72,000 subject to skills and experience

Locations: Bristol/ Eastleigh/ Manchester/ Norwich / York/ Birmingham/ Leeds/ Glasgow/ Sheffield/ Leatherhead

About the role

As an AI Platforms Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the next generation of AI capabilities that drive innovation across Aviva. Working at the intersection of business strategy, product development, and platform engineering, you will translate complex business needs into clear, actionable, and value-driven solutions.

Partnering closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Engineers, Architects, and business stakeholders, you will ensure requirements are understood, prioritised, and successfully delivered. You will support discovery activities, define platform capabilities, and help delivery teams build scalable, reusable solutions that maximise business value. This role requires strong analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to navigate ambiguity within a rapidly evolving AI and technology landscape.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in business analysis within technology, digital, data, or platform delivery environments, translating business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops, gathering requirements, and building consensus across business and technology teams.
• Experience creating and managing user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and other business analysis artefacts to support successful delivery.
• Ability to simplify complex business and technical concepts, enabling effective decision-making and alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, including backlog refinement, feature prioritisation, and supporting value-driven product delivery.

• Salary: circa £72,000(depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
