Job summary

WRITER is seeking a security engineer to embed security into the AI platform. You will work at the intersection of application security, AI infrastructure, and developer enablement, partnering with engineering to embed security in code and scale protective measures.

You will tackle challenges around securing AI agents, training data pipelines, and safety controls for new AI products, reporting to the head of security engineering.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in application security engineering.
• Experience securing large-scale production systems.
• Familiarity with developer workflows and shipping features securely.
• Proven ability to translate security concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Threat modeling sessions with product teams and secure architectures for new features.
• Maintain and evolve our application security program, including CI/CD security scanning.
• Create secure coding standards and reusable security patterns for developers.
• Design security features and products to protect customer environments.
• Integrate AI agents to increase security velocity while reducing risk.
