Job summary

Allianz Technology seeks an experienced AI Platform Engineer to own the platform runtime powering AI use cases across the organization. You will build and operate kubernetes-based services, governance tools, and developer experiences for model routing, caching, and prompt management.

You will define platform standards, ensure safety and compliance, and drive observability with strong incident response and cost controls. Hybrid work and international collaboration are key features of this role.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building and operating AI/developer platforms at scale.
• Hands-on platform builder with enablement mindset across teams.
• Strong Python/TypeScript/Go and Terraform IaC skills.
• Experience with governance, AI FinOps and policy enforcement.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate the AI platform runtime and services.
• Provide a plug-and-play surface for teams with FinOps and safety guardrails.
• Define platform standards and curate AI tool landscape.
• Implement observability, SLOs and incident response.
• Collaborate with governance, hyperscalers and labs on roadmap features.
• Drive scalability, reliability and cost optimization across regions.
