Qualifications

• Proven track record building and operating AI platforms at production scale.
• Hands-on platform builder with an enablement mindset.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native infra (Kubernetes, networking), MLOps/LLMOps stacks, vector stores, routing/caching, and identity/risk management.
• Strong software engineering skills (Python/TypeScript/Go), IaC (Terraform), CI/CD, and SRE practices.
• Experience implementing governance, compliance, safety guardrails, and AI FinOps.
• Pragmatic product sense with vendor evaluation and partnership skills; comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the AI platform runtime (Kubernetes-based services, gateways, routing).
• Provide a plug-and-play surface for teams with AI FinOps, quotas, usage metering, and safety guardrails.
• Define and maintain platform standards, curating AI tools and lifecycle management.
• Implement platform-wide observability (metrics, logs, traces), SLOs, cost and performance instrumentation, and incident response.
• Partner with governance owners, hyperscalers, and labs for regulated features and roadmap influence.
• Optimize platform scalability, reliability, cost, and drive release automation and risk recovery.
