Job summary

Lloyds Bank plc in Bristol is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design, build and support BI and AI platform capabilities. This role sits in the BIaaS Lab and contributes to trusted analytics across the organisation.

You will work within a cross-functional team of Product Owners and engineers to evolve analytics platforms, including Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Looker, with a focus on scalable, secure services.

Qualifications

• Experience administering enterprise BI platforms such as Power BI, Looker or similar technologies.
• Experience designing, implementing or supporting platform services, standards and operational practices within a technology environment.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with cloud platform tooling and automation capabilities such as infrastructure-as-code, identity and access management or deployment tooling.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing and supporting BI and AI platform capabilities that enable trusted analytics across the organisation.
• Creating reusable patterns, blueprints, best practices, operating models and standards to support platform adoption and self-service.
• Delivering platform improvements that enhance connectivity between BI applications and cloud or on-premises data sources.
• Collaborating with architecture, security, networking and cloud teams to develop secure, scalable and resilient platform solutions.
