Job summary

Kernel Company is seeking an AI Ops Engineer to build internal systems that scale our product. You will work across Product, Customer Support, and Engineering to identify high-leverage problems and implement AI-powered workflows that teams actually use.

This hands-on role involves taking vague problems through to production tools, APIs, data pipelines or lightweight code, with a focus on automating support, evaluating data through tests, and enabling demos for the sales team.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience shipping tools, automations or AI workflows in a startup.
• Curious about product; eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• AI-tool obsessed; tests models, agents and workflows.
• Strong data instincts to turn messy information into reliable workflows.
• Willing to build end-to-end tools, not only strategic tasks.

Responsibilities

• Automate customer support workflows leveraging Kernel docs and AI tooling.
• Turn user feedback into evals by creating test cases for improvements.
• Keep product docs up to date with changes and new features.
• Build tools to help the sales team demo Kernel with relevant data.
