Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a hands-on software engineer to join product teams and help them work in an AI-native way. You will write production code, modernise pipelines and tooling, set up agentic development tools, and coach engineers to use AI effectively in daily work.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with production experience.
• Experience in Java (preferred) or C#.
• Hands-on with Claude Code or similar tools.
• Experience in AI-native development and CI/CD.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Join product squads early and help shape the transformation backlog.
• Modernise CI/CD pipelines and production code.
• Create and maintain AGENTS.md / CLAUDE.md files so AI tools understand the product and codebase.
• Roll out shared platform assets into live repositories and ensure they fit workflows.
• Build custom Claude Code skills and subagents for the team’s domain to automate repetitive work, code generation, and code reviews.
• Coach engineers on AI-native habits and AI-assisted reviews.
• Share learnings with the Central Platform Team.
