Job summary

Caprice Holdings seeks an AI / Motion Designer for a three-month fixed-term contract in London. You will produce high-quality moving content across luxury restaurant brands, using AI tools as a native part of the workflow and delivering motion-led content for campaigns, social, and launches.

Reporting to the Head of Creative, you will support existing Motion Designers and help scale the production schedule across a multi-brand portfolio, ensuring consistency across frames and proper delivery

AI / Motion Designer

Caprice Holdings | Three-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Full-Time, Five Days per Week | London-Based

£50,000 (£31,000 plus £19,000 tronc paid Pro-Rata)

Role Summary

Caprice Restaurants is seeking an AI / Motion Designer to produce distinctive, high-quality moving content across our portfolio of luxury restaurants, including Sexy Fish, Bacchanalia, Scott's, J. Sheekey, 34 Mayfair and Balthazar.

This is a hands-on execution role for someone who uses AI filmmaking platforms such as Higgsfield as a native part of their creative workflow not simply as an occasional add-on. You will turn approved concepts, photography and brand assets into polished motion-led content for campaigns, social media, paid placements and seasonal launches.

Working under the creative direction of the Head of Creative and Art Director, you will support our Motion Designers existing workflow and help increase the team's capacity across a busy multi-brand production schedule.

The role requires a strong understanding of both generative video and conventional motion design. You should be able to take a defined creative route through generation, refinement, compositing, animation and final delivery while maintaining consistency across every frame.

Key Responsibilities

AI Video Production

• Use platforms such as Higgsfield, Runway and other emerging AI tools to create high-quality generative video and motion assets.
• Build effective text-to-video, image-to-video and reference-led production workflows.
• Transform approved photography, campaign artwork and visual references into controlled moving sequences.
• Maintain consistency in products, environments, characters, lighting and visual style across multiple generated shots.
• Test and refine prompts, source imagery, reference frames and generation settings to reach an approved creative outcome.
• Identify where AI generation will strengthen an idea and where traditional animation, compositing or editing will produce a better result.
• Create reusable workflows that make future adaptations faster and more consistent.

Motion Design and Finishing

• Animate typography, graphic elements, campaign artwork and static brand assets.
• Composite generated material with photography, video, illustration and graphic design.
• Refine AI outputs by correcting visual inconsistencies, transitions and unwanted artefacts.
• Add movement, depth, pacing and visual effects without losing the premium quality of the original creative.
• Produce final masters and adaptations for Reels, Stories, TikTok, paid social, CRM and digital screens.
• Deliver correctly formatted files across vertical, square and landscape placements.
• Work confidently across tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop.

Creative Execution

• Translate approved concepts, storyboards and references into finished AI and motion assets.
• Work under the direction of the Head of Creative and Art Director, supporting our Motion Designer's established generative workflow.
• Develop several controlled executions where testing is required, without changing the agreed creative route.
• Apply each restaurant's individual visual language rather than using one recognisable AI style across the portfolio.
• Balance ambitious creative execution with practical deadlines, review windows and available source material.
• Respond accurately to consolidated feedback across two review rounds.

Production and Workflow

• Work across several brands and deadlines simultaneously, prioritising time-sensitive campaign launches.
• Estimate the production time and source assets required before beginning each piece of work.
• Flag feasibility, quality or timing risks early.
• Keep prompts, project files, source assets, working outputs and final exports clearly organised.
• Maintain a record of tools, settings and workflows used so successful approaches can be repeated.
• Monitor new AI video and motion tools and recommend relevant improvements to the production workflow.
• Ensure all outputs comply with approved brand, product, likeness and usage requirements.

What You'll Bring

• A strong portfolio demonstrating professional AI-generated video and motion-design work.
• Advanced, practical experience using Higgsfield or comparable AI filmmaking platforms as part of an everyday production workflow.
• Strong motion-design and compositing skills, ideally using After Effects and the wider Adobe Creative Suite.
• A clear understanding of animation, timing, framing, lighting, camera movement and visual continuity.
• The ability to move beyond raw AI generation and deliver polished, brand-ready final assets.
• Experience working from approved creative direction, storyboards and reference materials.
• Strong visual judgement and an understanding of premium, fashion, hospitality or luxury-brand aesthetics.
• The ability to work quickly across multiple brands without compromising organisation or quality.
• A practical understanding of current AI limitations, production risks and quality-control requirements.
• Confidence presenting work in progress, explaining production choices and responding constructively to feedback.

Nice to Have

• Experience combining AI-generated sequences with live-action footage.
• Video editing, sound-design or colour-grading skills.
• Experience with 3D, particle systems or advanced visual effects.
• Familiarity with custom AI workflows and additional generation or upscaling tools.
• Experience producing paid-social adaptations and performance-led creative variants.
• An interest in food, hospitality, fashion, art or culture-led content.
