Job summary

Caprice Holdings is seeking a Content Creator for a three-month fixed-term contract in London. You will film visually exceptional content across our luxury restaurant portfolio, from Sexy Fish to J. Sheekey, delivering high-quality footage for the post-production team.

You’ll shoot food, interiors, people and events, adapting to live restaurant environments and vertical-first formats while maintaining brand continuity with guidance from senior creatives.

Qualifications

Caprice Restaurants | Three-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Full-Time, Five Days per Week | London-Based

£50,000 (£31,000 plus £19,000 tronc paid Pro-Rata)

Role Summary

Caprice Holdings is seeking a Content Creator to capture visually exceptional short-form content across our portfolio of luxury restaurants, including Sexy Fish, Bacchanalia, Scott's, J. Sheekey, 34 Mayfair and Balthazar.

This is a hands-on camera role focused entirely on high-quality content capture. You will film food, drinks, interiors, people, events and campaign activations, supplying technically consistent and well-organised footage for the wider post-production team.

Working closely with the Head of Creative, Art Director and Creative Content Producer, you will translate approved creative direction and shot lists into elevated footage with a refined luxury sensibility.

You will need to operate confidently as a solo shooter or as part of a small crew, adapt quickly to live restaurant environments and understand how to capture for vertical-first social formats without compromising production quality.

Key Responsibilities

Camera and Lighting

• Operate professional camera and lighting setups across restaurant environments.
• Capture vertical-first footage for Reels, Stories, Shorts and paid media.
• Film food, drinks, interiors, service, talent and live events to a consistently high standard.
• Create considered camera movement using handheld, tripod and gimbal setups.
• Maintain consistent exposure, focus, frame rates, white balance and colour profiles.
• Capture clean supporting sound where required by the brief.

Shoot Execution

• Work from approved creative treatments, storyboards and shot lists.
• Collaborate with the producer to plan practical timings and camera resets.
• Work efficiently within restricted pre-service access windows.
• Contribute practical framing, lighting and camera solutions on set.
• Direct contributors and light-touch talent where required.
• Respond confidently to changing conditions without losing the priority shots.

Brand and Creative Delivery

• Adapt the shooting approach to each brand's visual language.
• Balance bold, expressive and energetic capture with more refined, cinematic styles.
• Work closely with the Head of Creative and Art Director to maintain visual consistency.
• Capture sufficient coverage and variation for different platforms and campaign formats.
• Support the development of repeatable brand-specific lighting and camera approaches.

Footage Management and Handover

• Back up and organise footage securely after each shoot.
• Maintain clear folder structures, file naming and camera-card records.
• Supply complete, technically consistent rushes to the assigned editor.
• Provide shot notes, technical information and priority-take guidance where helpful.
• Flag missing coverage or technical issues promptly.

What You'll Bring

• Four or more years' experience in a hands-on videography or cinematography role.
• Expert knowledge of professional camera systems and lighting.
• Strong experience filming food, drinks, interiors, lifestyle and people.
• A portfolio demonstrating premium, social-first and vertical video capture.
• Confidence working independently or with a minimal crew.
• Strong handheld and gimbal-operating skills.
• An excellent understanding of composition, movement, exposure and colour.
• Experience directing contributors naturally and efficiently.
• The ability to work quickly in busy, operational environments.
• Strong organisational standards for footage management and handover.

Nice to Have

• Experience filming luxury hospitality, food, fashion or lifestyle brands.
• Photography skills and the ability to capture supporting stills when briefed.
• Experience with basic location-sound recording.
• Experience working with food stylists and specialist lighting setups.
• Drone experience or an appropriate licence.
• Experience with live events, performance or nightlife capture.
