Job summary

Mind Foundry is seeking a Software Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering AI/ML systems for Defence and National Security. You’ll collaborate with engineers, scientists, designers and product specialists to create scalable, data‑driven software that blends research depth with practical deployment.

The role may require travel to client sites and hybrid work from our Summertown, Oxford office, with UK Security Vetting (SC) eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong Python, APIs and relational database skills.
• Experience building full‑stack web applications.
• Ability to work independently in a contract-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver features.
• Own technical delivery from design to deployment.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and QA practices.
