Job summary

Accenture is seeking an AI & ML Engineer (Cybersecurity) in Cheltenham with a hybrid pattern (2x a month in the office). You will develop and optimise AI agents and LLM-powered workflows to accelerate detection and response within Accenture's SOC offerings.

The role requires hands-on AI/ML experience, familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock or Vertex AI, strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG pipelines, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying AI agents or LLM-powered apps in production.
• Knowledge of enterprise AI platforms and security risks (OWASP LLM Top 10).
• Strong Python and API integration skills; familiarity with security governance.

Responsibilities

• LLM Configuration: tune prompts, system prompts, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Agent Development: build AI agents and workflows with SOAR, SIEM, EDR integrations.
• Secure Configuration: implement safeguards against adversarial inputs and jailbreaks.
• System Architecture: design modular, scalable, secure AI solutions.
• Governance: align with AI governance, data handling, audits, and compliance.
• Cost Management: monitor LLM usage and cloud costs with optimisations.
• Collaboration: work with security engineers and SOC analysts; gather feedback.
• Documentation: produce technical docs for ongoing management.
