Job summary

Lynx Recruitment Ltd is seeking an AI/ML Research Consultant for a leading UK technology and research organisation. You will apply curiosity, creativity and rigour to a broad range of emerging AI/ML challenges, designing, developing and deploying ML systems in novel environments.

The role involves analysing research, prototyping and collaborating with clients to deliver high-quality technical outcomes on projects spanning from early research to deployable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or Computer Science.
• Research experience or potential appropriate to career stage.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras or JAX.
• Experience across a range of ML techniques or the ability to learn quickly.
• Rigorous, scientific approach to problem solving.
• Creativity and ability to develop novel technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the latest research, techniques and developments in AI/ML.
• Generate new ideas, approaches and hypotheses.
• Develop and train machine learning models, including prototyping.
• Conduct experiments and technical troubleshooting.
• Work directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes.
