Job summary

Copello in Bristol is seeking an innovative AI/ML Engineer to design and implement image processing and computer vision algorithms for state-of-the-art sensor systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into robust software solutions.

The role requires a strong mathematical background, experience with Python and C++, and familiarity with AI frameworks, with eligibility for UK Security Clearance. On-site duties are expected in Bristol.

Qualifications

• PhD, Master’s, or relevant industry experience in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
• Strong mathematical background with experience in image processing, computer vision, and deep learning frameworks.
• Knowledge of image algorithms like Super Resolution, Filter Design, and Signal Processing domains such as SAR, IR, RF, or Hyper-Spectral imaging is beneficial.
• Experience in programming languages such as Python, C++, and familiarity with AI frameworks.
• Passion for innovative technology and ability to work in a diverse, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evaluate algorithms related to image processing, computer vision, and deep learning.
• Implement techniques such as segmentation, noise removal, tracking, pose estimation, and classification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into operational software solutions.
• Support research and exploration of emerging AI/ML technologies.
• Contribute to testing, validation, and integration of algorithms within larger systems.
