Job summary

Carpmaels & Ransford seeks a Knowledge Paralegal (AI) to support AI initiatives within the Knowledge Team. You will translate AI use cases into clear, practical fee-earner workflows, including inputs, prompts, and guardrails, ensuring professional judgement remains essential.

You will work with fee-earners to develop guidance, curate prompt libraries, and validate outputs. Regular presence in our London office is anticipated to build strong internal relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong academic qualifications in law or equivalent.
• Knowledge of IP law is advantageous.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and their practical limits.
• Clear ability to translate processes into step-by-step guidance.

Responsibilities

• Translate AI use cases into practical fee-earner processes.
• Develop guidance on prompts, inputs, and guardrails for AI use in practice.
• Collaborate with Knowledge Team and fee-earners to validate AI outputs.
• Engage with fee-earners to refine workflows and guidance based on usage.
• Maintain AI knowledge content and update guidance as tools evolve.
