Job summary

BlueCrest Capital Management seeks an experienced knowledge engineering professional to design and maintain a scalable knowledge layer for Front Office Technology. You’ll model instruments, issuers, research and runbooks, build graph-based retrieval, and enable AI agents with well-defined APIs and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, data modelling or knowledge engineering, with strong Python and SQL.
• Proven knowledge modelling or ontology design for production use.
• Hands-on experience with knowledge graphs and at least one graph tech.
• Experience structuring unstructured content with taxonomies and tagging.
• Experience designing typed APIs or tool integrations for AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Design the knowledge model across front office and technology domains and manage it as code.
• Link knowledge to reference data, research, documents and system records with reliable sources.
• Build tools that AI agents use to find entities and follow relationships with access controls.
• Support teams to capture and share knowledge through simple tooling and runbooks.
• Maintain agents that keep the layer current and provide provenance for audit.
