You get to build the knowledge layer from scratch inside a front office AI team that is just getting started.
This is a greenfield role. There is no legacy mess to unpick, no queue of stakeholders to appease and no six-month approval process before you can make a decision. The firm is agile, moves quickly and trusts its engineers to get on with it.
You are joining a new AI team being built out right now, sitting within front office technology. Your focus is the firm's knowledge layer. You design it, you build it, you maintain it and you own it. That means working across knowledge graphs, ontology design and data modelling to create something the business will rely on at its core.
Day to day you are hands on. You are writing Python and SQL, working with AI coding tools as part of your regular workflow and thinking carefully about how information is structured, connected and made useful.
The firm is building out its AI infrastructure now and this role puts you at the centre of that. If you want to do meaningful technical work that actually shapes how a trading firm thinks and operates, this is the one.
You will have a solid background in data engineering, data modelling or knowledge engineering. You will know your way around ontology design and have real hands on experience with knowledge graphs. Daily use of AI coding tools is a must, not a nice to have.
This is four days a week in the office.
