Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer – AI & Connectivity Specialist for the UK & Ireland. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, software, and AI, acting as a trusted advisor to technical architects and C-suite stakeholders.

You will map Cisco’s AI stack to business outcomes and guide customers through their complete AI journey. You will partner with the AI Account Executive to lead end-to-end solution delivery, drive seamless integration with partners, and architect

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 5 years in systems engineering or solution architecture within AI/data center/cloud infra vendors.
Proven track record in UK & Ireland enterprise or public sector markets.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and microservices architecture.
Solid knowledge of networking protocols, security frameworks, and API-driven automation.
Excellent communication skills for executive and technical audiences.
Experience driving technical sales engagements and managing complex deal cycles.

Responsibilities

Lead customers from AI use case ideation to full-scale implementation.
Align Cisco’s AI stack with ISV/industry partners for end-to-end solutions.
Design robust, secure AI infra environments for complex workloads.
Plan and execute POV projects to validate performance and outcomes.
Collaborate with product engineering to shape roadmaps and represent Cisco at events.
