Job summary

TELUS Digital AI Community is seeking a Specialist to drive AI governance and strategy, translating regulatory requirements into actionable roadmaps for responsible AI. You will bridge business, law, and technology to shape ethical, transparent, and high-impact AI solutions across global contexts.

You will collaborate with executives, design governance rubrics, and lead initiatives ensuring bias mitigation, data privacy, and explainability while supporting a culture of data-driven decision

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law (Digital/Tech focus), Management Information Systems, or Ethics/Philosophy. MBA or JD preferred.
• Native language proficiency required (native-level) to navigate regional legal nuances.
• English proficiency: Minimum B1 (Intermediate) in English for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Roadmap Development: Identify high-value AI use cases aligned with business objectives and ROI.
• Governance Framework Design: Build governance structures, accountability models (RACI), policies, and ethical review processes.
• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Assess alignment with EU AI Act, GDPR, NIST RMF; mitigate bias, privacy, and security risks.
• Ethical Oversight & Transparency: Develop rubrics for Explainability and Fairness for traceable, unbiased AI decisions.
• Organizational Change & Literacy: Facilitate workshops to promote data-driven decision-making and ethical AI adoption.

Education
