Job summary

Intact Insurance is seeking a recognised authority to lead AI governance and strategic initiatives across the organisation. You will define discipline standards, methodologies and technical direction, and act as the final escalation point for complex or high‑risk AI issues.

You will influence senior leaders, oversee risk assessments, and build organisational capability through guidance, training and reusable artefacts while staying aligned with industry developments in AI governance.

Qualifications

• Deep subject-matter expertise in AI governance and risk management.
• Strategic thinker able to develop new approaches and methodologies.
• Strong influencing and communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record leading high-impact, value-generating initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define AI governance standards, controls and assurance approaches.
• Lead cross-functional governance forums and advise senior stakeholders.
• Oversee AI risk assessments and ensure remediation actions are delivered.
• Build organisational capability through guidance, training and artefacts.
• Act as SMT authority for audits, regulatory requests and industry developments.
