4Square Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced AI Governance / Data Protection Consultant to guide clients through privacy programmes and regulatory requirements in a practical, commercially focused way. The role blends hands-on privacy operations with client-facing consultancy in a UK hybrid setting.

You will work with multi-sector clients to deliver DPIAs, data mapping, RoPAs, and breach response, advising on UK GDPR and international frameworks, while training stakeholders and building

Competenze

• 5+ years’ experience in data protection/privacy roles.
• Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR and EU/international frameworks.
• Hands-on with: DPIAs, LIAs, RoPAs.
• Data mapping & asset registers.
• Incident/breach management & DSARs.
• IAPP certification (CIPP/E, CIPM or equivalent).
• Comfortable working with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.

• Acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for clients on all data protection matters.
• Supporting and delivering privacy programmes, including DPIAs, LIAs, RoPAs, and data mapping.
• Identifying and managing data protection and cyber risks.
• Providing pragmatic advice on UK GDPR and international privacy regulations.
• Supporting data breach response and regulatory compliance (including ICO engagement).
• Developing and implementing policies, governance frameworks, and privacy controls.
