GlaxoSmithKline in the UK is seeking Software Engineers for the AI for Science (AI4S) team to design, build and operate scalable cloud-native infrastructure and services that power production AI models and agentic applications.

You will own reliability across the full development life cycle, implement CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and incident response, and collaborate with ML engineers and domain researchers to deliver robust, high‑performance software in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary

Qualifikationen

• A degree in a quantitative or engineering discipline or equivalent software engineer experience.
• Advanced programming in Python and building robust, scalable software using frameworks like FastAPI.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, containerization and infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform services like Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Storage, Artifact Registry, Cloud SQL.
