Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced engineer to help build digital onboarding experiences across Europe. You will design Angular applications, build AWS-native services, and use AI tools to accelerate delivery. You’ll work with a globally distributed team, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions with a product-minded focus.

The role requires strong Angular, Java Spring Boot, Node.js skills, and a collaborative, independent work style in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

Front-end and back-end development experience with modern Angular versions.
Strong serverless and AWS cloud knowledge, including Aurora Postgres, S3 and EC2.
Proficiency with Node.js and Java Spring Boot for full-stack delivery.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver Angular applications powering client onboarding journeys.
Build cloud-native services on AWS and integrate third-party APIs.
Apply AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and code quality.
Collaborate across time zones with product, design, and engineering teams.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions for Vanguard's growth.
Contribute to engineering practices, documentation, and continuous improvement.
